Lets you create labels to identify documents and, at the same time, allows the creation of templates for a desired document type by creating form fields to add them to the templates according to the user's preference.
- Advantage: Improves the organization of and access to document information.
- Additional detail: Permissions can be applied per folder, so that only specific users can access, edit or view certain documents, complying with security and confidentiality standards.
Step by Step:
- Go to the DocuKlaud side menu and click the Settings. button.
- Select the Document Types. option.
- Click the New type button to create a new document category.
- In the Document type name field, type the name (e.g.: Contract, Report, Certificate).
- In the form section, click Create field and define the field type (text, date, list, etc.).
- After creating the fields, select the ones you want for the document; you can leave it as a required or optional field.
- Click Add in the template section to add a Word template (docx) and be able to configure it.
- To configure the template with the labels, you just have to copy the label and place it with the braces ({}) included in the part where it is needed, and after configuring, you can close the document.
- Click Save to finish. The new type will be available in document creation.
- You can edit the document at any time.
- You can replace the current template with a new one.
- You can also download the modified original template or delete it and put a new template in place.
